Held in the NRG Stadium in Texas, with an attendance of 70,807 people, the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons were battling it out to win this year’s Superbowl LI.

Being one of the biggest sporting events in North America, Superbowl LI did not disappoint to show its audience around the world what America’s greatest sport is all about.

All eyes were on Tom Brady, aka the GOAT, to see if he could lead his team to success and be the most decorated player in history by being the only quarterback to win five championship rings. (Spoiler alert: He is!!)

With an exciting Halftime performance by Lady Gaga, everyone was anticipating nothing less than a spectacular show. Besides her hit songs, amazing drones, and the mic drop at the end, her powerful outfits also made a mark in this year’s Superbowl.

Taking the field in an all-black Vera Wang, Lady Gaga posed and greeted her fans before the game started. For her performance, she opted for a beaded rhinestone piece by Versace. The intricate piece, with matching boots, was apparently a tribute to all her accomplishments in the first decade of her career. Reminiscent of her early years as a singer, she added a gold sequin jacket with spiked shoulders as performed some of her hits like “Just Dance”. Ending her performance by doing another outfit change, she rushed back into the stage wearing a white crop top with sleeves inspired by a football player’s shoulder pads. Singing her hit song “Bad Romance”, which she released back in 2009, Lady Gaga ended her performance with a mic drop as she jumped off stage.

Styled by her longtime friend and designer, Brandon Maxwell, surely whoever performs in next year’s Superbowl LII will have a tough time following Lady Gaga’s acts this year.
