The White Bottle Effect: Why Summer Drinks Are Becoming Design Objects

The most coveted summer accessories aren’t always fashion items.

Increasingly, they’re appearing on bar carts.

As home entertaining becomes more design-conscious, consumers are paying as much attention to how a bottle looks as what it tastes like. The rise of sculptural glassware, elevated ice moulds and curated bar carts has turned drinks into part of the décor.

The Perfect Serve (see recipe below)

That’s partly why Another Hendrick’s feels culturally relevant beyond spirits.

Packaged in a striking white bottle, the new expression creates an immediate visual counterpoint to Hendrick’s iconic dark apothecary bottle. Together, they deliver the kind of black-and-white styling moment interior designers spend careers trying to perfect.

The aesthetic story mirrors the liquid story.  Much like the bottles themselves, the two gins share the same DNA while expressing it differently.

The original Hendrick’s is defined by its signature rose and cucumber profile, while Another Hendrick’s introduces bright orange blossom and silky-smooth cacao, creating a flavour experience that feels both unexpected and unmistakably Hendrick’s.

Another Hendrick’s Spritz (see recipe below)

As the first new permanent expression from Hendrick’s in nine years, Another Hendrick’s arrived for summer entertaining. Bright floral notes and a smooth, velvety finish make it particularly well suited to the season’s lighter style of drinking.

The easiest way to explore both is through Hendrick’s Perfect Serve, simply paired with premium tonic and cucumber, allowing each gin’s distinctive character to take centre stage.

For those looking for some more summer inspiration, Another Hendrick’s also shines in their  signature spritz.  Combining apple juice, prosecco, soda and a touch of cherry liqueur, the cocktail highlights the gin’s bright floral notes and smooth finish.
