CANADA SHORE Officially Renewed for Season Two

Paramount+ doubles down on its breakout Canadian reality hit

The Shore is officially open for another summer.

Canada Shore has been renewed for a second season on Paramount+, with production set to begin this summer as the cast returns for another round of parties, hookups, and unapologetic chaos.

The renewal follows a breakout debut. According to Paramount, Canada Shore drove more Canadian subscriptions than any other title on the platform during its first season, while also generating viral traction across social media, with personalities like Brianna Chickenfry and Cody Ko among those amplifying the conversation.

In a statement, Katrina Kowalski, SVP of Content at Paramount Canada, called the renewal “an easy decision,” pointing to the show’s immediate connection with audiences and its cast, whose energy leans more chaotic than conventionally Canadian—but resonates all the same.

Showrunner Erin Brock echoed that momentum, describing the group as “messy, funny, and completely unapologetic,” adding that the drama didn’t stop when filming wrapped—and will pick up just as quickly when cameras return.

Season one, which wrapped on March 19, introduced audiences to a bold group of Canadian singles brought together in Kelowna, British Columbia. Like its predecessor, Jersey Shore, the series thrives on high-energy nights, unpredictable dynamics, and the kind of cast chemistry that turns chaos into culture.

Now, the franchise is expanding. Casting for season two is officially open, with producers looking for Canadians aged 19 to 26 who are ready to step into the Shore house and bring the same level of energy. The only requirement: be the life of the party.

Applications are open now through April 30.

As the first Canadian entry in the global “Shore” franchise—which spans more than a dozen international iterations—Canada Shore has quickly carved out its place.

And this summer, it’s coming back louder.
