It’s official, Drake’s newest restaurant Pick 6ix in Toronto is set to open tonight, and what better way to celebrate than by hosting a pre-opening birthday bash for NBA royalty Dwayne Wade with Lebron James and The House Rémy Martin.

Lebron James invited the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are in town for their game against the Raptors on January 11th, and their closest friends to Toronto’s newest hot spot, Pick 6ix. The newest edition to Drake’s Toronto empire, Pick 6ix is located in the heart of downtown at 33 Yonge St and features an open-concept rooftop patio completely enclosed with glass. Using the award-winning OpenAire concept, Drake has created an outdoor, yet enclosed sanctuary for his guests to enjoy the sights and scenery of the 6ix.

With DJ Meel spinning throughout the night, and The House Rémy Martin provided signature cocktails for the evening. In attendance last night was an A-list crowd including: OVO Chubbs, DJ Charlie B, DJ Meel, Baka Not Nice, Eric Da Jeweler, DJ Steph Floss, Future The Prince, and Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s recently announced baby daddy, just to name a few.

The House Rémy Martin is no stranger to sponsoring Drake’s events, this past summer they partnered with OVO Chubbs for parties during Caribana Weekend and OVO Fest. Two Rémy Martin based cocktails will become permanent menu items at Pick 6ix: the Six Spice Fashion – Rémy Martin VSOP, Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Six Spice syrup, and Angostura bitters – and a classic Sazerac – Rémy Martin VSOP, Passion Fruit syrup, Peychauds, and a Pernod rinse.

With all the rumours going around about Pick 6ix opening, this exclusive party gave us the first look inside the restaurant. An OVO must have, the decor features classic black and gold. Paired with plush, and richly colored furniture, creating a luxurious atmosphere, and of course all the trimmings like the multiple chandeliers and light fixtures adding a nice rustic touch. Wishing we had caught a glimpse of the raved about enclosed patio, but we will just have to wait to get a table ourselves to get the full experience at the opening.
