The travelling pop-up inspired by Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel is making its way across Toronto ahead of Verity hitting theatres October 2.
Toronto is getting an early look inside the twisted world of Verity.
Ahead of the psychological thriller’s theatrical release this fall, Verity Crawford’s office has been recreated as a mobile pop-up and is making its way around the city from September 7 through September 13.
The activation takes one of the most important settings from Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel and brings it into the real world, giving fans the chance to step closer to the secrets at the centre of the story.
Amazon MGM Studios Canada will be revealing the office’s locations throughout the week on social media, with visitors invited to explore clues inspired by Verity Crawford and Lowen Ashleigh.
And for anyone who knows the book, an office dedicated to Verity Crawford is about as ominous as it sounds.
Anne Hathaway Steps Into the World of Verity
The upcoming adaptation stars Anne Hathaway as acclaimed author Verity Crawford, alongside Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh and Josh Hartnett as Verity’s husband, Jeremy Crawford.
The story follows Lowen, a struggling writer who is brought into the Crawford family’s world after being hired to ghostwrite for Verity.
She relocates to the Crawford estate and begins working through the author’s material, only to uncover what appears to be an autobiographical manuscript containing a series of disturbing confessions.
What follows turns the job into something far more complicated as Lowen finds herself caught between Verity’s writings, her growing connection with Jeremy and a central question that becomes increasingly difficult to answer: what is actually true?
It’s precisely that uncertainty that helped turn Hoover’s novel into a phenomenon, moving the author away from the contemporary romance she is best known for and into much darker psychological territory.
Verity Heads to the Big Screen
Directed by Michael Showalter from a screenplay by Nick Antosca, Verity also stars Ismael Cruz Cordova and Brady Wagner.
Hathaway and Hoover are among the film’s producers, while Johnson serves as an executive producer.
The Toronto activation gives readers something else to investigate before the movie arrives, turning Verity’s office, and all the uncomfortable questions associated with it into a moving piece of the film’s world.
Fans hoping to find it can follow @AmazonMGMStudiosCA for the office’s daily Toronto locations.
Verity opens exclusively in theatres October 2, 2026.
