Suit up like a rebel: Columbia’s Star Wars Endor Collection officially launches today, blending iconic design with rugged outdoor tech.
The Force is strong with this one: Columbia Sportswear’s Endor
Shot amid towering redwoods reminiscent of Endor’s iconic forests, the campaign places Billie Lourd front and center, modeling pieces like the Endor Issue Poncho as a heartfelt nod to her late mother, Carrie Fisher, and her indelible role as Princess Leia Organa. To keep her mother’s presence close during the shoot, Lourd wore one of Fisher’s iconic rings, a personal talisman that she has long used to feel connected to her mother’s spirit. Against the towering trees of the Redwoods, the ring became a quiet reminder of Leia’s enduring legacy, infusing the campaign with both personal and cinematic resonance.
What sets this collection apart from typical fan gear is its balance of storytelling and performance. Columbia’s design team painstakingly studied the Rebel strike team’s costumes—capturing the tactical grit of Han Solo, the practicality of Leia’s forest-ready wardrobe, and even the charm of the Ewoks—to translate cinematic energy into real-world pieces. Each item carries Easter eggs for fans: Aurebesh inscriptions, Rebel Alliance insignias, camo patterns echoing Endor’s forest terrain, and subtle references that reward those with a keen eye.
The line spans 20 limited-edition pieces, including versatile outerwear, rugged footwear, and playful kids’ apparel. Highlights include:
- General Han Solo
Trench: A 3-in-1 shell-and-vest combo that combines tactical energy with Columbia’s Omni-Heat Infinity warmth technology. Subtle Rebel details and custom camo make it a collector’s piece.
- Endor
Issue Poncho: Costume-inspired pleating, adjustable arms, and a Rebel insignia patch elevate this functional outer layer into a statement piece.
- Ewok
Fleece Jacket & Bunting: Soft, high-pile fleece with hood ears and embroidered patches for little rebels, blending whimsy with warmth.
- Endor
Issue Boot: Rugged, trail-ready footwear featuring Omni-MAX cushioning, TechLite midsoles, and Rebel-inspired accents, including dual lace options.
Beyond utility, this collection is a style statement. It proves fandom can be fashion-forward, functional, and fun, whether you’re hiking a muddy trail, navigating rainy city streets, or paying homage to the galaxy’s most iconic rebels.
