You probably know us best because we’re the condoms with the colorful round wrappers. Maybe you’ve seen ONE® Condoms at your local drugstore or picked us up at your college health center, but trust us, we’re much more than meets the eye.

We’re ONE® Condoms and we take pride in doing things a little differently than other condom brands. 

Our History

In 2004, we launched ONE® Condoms, which quickly emerged as an industry leader in premium-branded condoms and lubes. ONE® was a culmination of everything our founder, Davin Wedel, had learned about the condom industry after 20+ years of running Global Protection Corp., ONE®’s parent company, which he founded in his dorm room at Tufts University in the late ‘80s. Davin founded Global Protection Corp. (and later ONE®) as a direct response to the AIDS crisis and the lack of discussion surrounding condom use. The challenge: how to make condoms cool and something people want to wear and talk about? 

Fast forward to today, with STI rates on the rise and condom use on the decline, that is still the challenge we’re facing and is still at the crux of everything we do. 

The One Family

We currently have 15 condom styles and 3 different lubes under the ONE® brand. We like to say ‘there’s ONE for everyone’ and that is very much pun-intended. Whether you’re looking for thin, studded, flavored, combo-packs, or even glow-in-the-dark condoms, we have it all. Fun fact: our parent company actually invented the first glow-in-the-dark condom, but that’s a story for another day. 

Our condoms check off all the health-conscious boxes: they are made from natural rubber latex, are vegan-friendly, non-GMO, gluten-free, lubricated with premium silicone lubricant, and are free of any parabens, glycerin, spermicide, and fragrances. Our flavored, colored, and glow-in-the-dark condoms are all formulated to be completely safe for intercourse.

One and the Community

One of the things at the core of our brand that really differentiates us from the other major condom brands is our focus on our community. We’re one of the leading suppliers of safer sex products to universities, non-profits, and health organizations. We also have two major programs that really help us connect with both our customers and the global community. 

Our Momentum loyalty program connects us directly to our fans: members complete challenges, earn points, and can redeem those points for free products from our online store. It’s mutually beneficial because it gives us direct access to our fans for feedback, ideas, and to hear from them about their wants and needs. You can learn more and sign-up here

As we mentioned before, we might be best known for our colorful artistic wrappers and several times a year we offer the public an opportunity to add artwork to our collection of designs through the ONE® Design Contests. Participants have the chance to win cash prizes, a year’s supply of condoms with their artwork on them, an artist profile on the ONE® website, and a condom donation to an organization of their choice. The Future

2020 has definitely been a weird year, but it certainly hasn’t slowed us down, because we have big plans for the future and we’re ready to make a splash. 

We’ve spent the better part of the last year working on a brand refresh that we’re really excited about. On top of a totally new look and feel, we’re also moving towards more sustainable packaging by using recycled materials and having the packages themselves be recyclable. 

We have some new products coming out in the next couple of years that we think have the potential to be game-changers, pushing the whole industry forward. We can’t say too much yet, but just keep an eye out for some big announcements. 

We’re growing and expanding to countries all over the world, with ONE® now being available in Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Portugal, Hong Kong, and Thailand. We’re not just growing the availability of our condoms, but we’re building relationships in these countries to make a positive impact in the communities we’re serving. Just recently, we completed the submission phase for our Canada-themed design contest, which will ultimately result in about 100,000 condoms being donated to Canadian health organizations.
