H&M x Movember: Changing the Face of Men’s Health

This year’s Movember is a chance to change the face of men’s health! This month, Global Fashion Retailer H&M is joining the mustache movement to help educate Canadian men on both physical and mental health.

Movember is an annual event, started in 2003, that’s aimed at raising awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. During the month, men are encouraged to avoid shaving, challenging the status quo and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Starting from providing hard facts across all 90 Canadian retail stores, and to providing discounts for participators in the movement, H&M is going all out. As part of their fundraising activity, they will be also encouraging customers to donate a buck for a bro at cash, with all funds raised going towards the Movember campaign. $500 worth of gift card giveaways will also be offered on Monday, November 11th at Moustache Monday. On Sunday, November 3rd, a customized MO-bile Barbershop was parked outside of H&M Queen Street West location to offer shaves to H&M customers to start off the hairy month.

And don’t forget to s(h)ave the date, as on Thursday, November 14th, H&M will be offering a 10 percent discount for all H&M loyalty members and Mo Space account holders!
