The Rebirth of Cool: The return of the Cassette Player

We nearly ruined our LV underpants when we heard about the newest retro device reborn to be enjoyed once again. Millenials may not know it well but cassette made a quick exit once CD’s were introduced to the world. Many of us born in the 80’s knew that was a huge change in the way we live, and many a relationship was born from the famous mix tapes given to the person of interests. It was a crying shame to see that go, so you can imagine our faces when we heard the “elbow” was looking to be put into production.

The ELBOW works in a much simpler manner than cassette players of old, just a single pulley is used to drive the tape. An optical sensor is used to maintain a constant playback. The cool factor of the ELBOW feature is the biaxial arm. It rotates in two directions – upward motion enables the insertion of cassettes, while sideways motion allows manual switching of the playing direction. The similarities of this function is similar to a classic vinyl record player.

The styling of the device is beyond what any 80’s kid could imagine, and can now be used as a fashion statement. showing off your latest mix, or just catching up on some old radio recorded tunes from back in the day . The device comes with a USB connector to easily charge the device so your trip to Nostalgia will never end.
