Solo Stove “Squashed the Beef” at the annual Players Tailgate on Super Bowl LX Sunday

During Super Bowl LX weekend, Solo Stove brought its “Squash the Beef Showdown” campaign to the annual world greatest Tailgate using fire and food to turn football rivalries into connection.

Centered around the debut of the Steelfire™ 30 Stainless Griddle, the activation invited rival fans, NFL personalities, and chefs to literally smash burgers and squash beef over an open flame.

Ashley Haas

Hosted by model/influencer Ashley Haas (@AshleyHaas), the experience featured live cooking moments and fan-submitted rivalries, while showcasing Solo Stove’s broader lineup of smokeless fire pits, pizza ovens, and chef-grade cooking accessories allowing a showecase of the full depth of of its outdoor lifestyle lineup at one of the biggest stages in sports.

Chefs supporting the program on-site and stopping by included celebrity chefs Leah Cohen and Miguel Raya, Belle English, as well as Player Tailgate host chefs Aaron May and Marc Murphy. 

Puka Nacua

NFL player Puka Nacua stepped in with annual DJ & Host, DJ Irie to host the main stage which also featured demos with Solo Stove’s Steelfire™ 30 Stainless Griddle.

Other NFL players CJ West (San Francisco 49ers) and Evan Williams (Green Bay Packers) participated with in the Squash the Beef Showdown as well as took griling tips with food influencer Anthony Bartleson (@MeatDad1) and Chuck Matto (@ChucksFlavorTrain) to name a few.

The campaign extended beyond the tailgate with the Delish Game Day Showdown, the Big Game S’moredown, and charitable donations to Seattle Food Lifeline and The Greater Boston Food Bank tied to fan participation.
