2026 American Century Championship
The 2026 American Century Championship presented by American Century Investments 3-day tournament held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course (South Lake Tahoe) concluded yesterday with former ATP tennis player Mardy Fish winning the annual trophy and first-ever American Century Championship Lab Coat — a one-of-a-kind symbol that celebrates excellence while honoring the power of scientific discovery at the Stowers Institute – the official non-profit beneficiary of the tournament which funds life-saving medical research.
Since 2000, American Century Investmestments and the Stowers Institue has directed more than $2 billion in dividends to advancing life-saving biomedical research at the Stowers Institute.
Other top finishers included veteran NHL hockey player Joe Pavelski in second place and NBA great, Stephen Curry taking third place. Other players this year included annual favorites Nate Bargatze, Charles Barkley, Colin Jost, Miles Teller, Larry David, Drew Brees, Michael Pena, Alfonso Ribeiro, Ray Romano, Steve Young, and dozens more.
Also notable were a handful of friends of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce who attended their now-famous wedding that included Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, Jyle Juszcyk, Baker Mayfield, Rich Eisen, and Rob Riggle — all of whom were sharing general tea on the wedding but tight-lipped to the details.
