What is Jelqing?

Jelqing is a series of pinching and stretching exercises that can help increase the length and girth of your manhood. Yeah, it sounds like masturbation but since it’s more of an “exercise” for your penis, so you have to approach it in a more disciplined way. There are men who claim to have increased their penis size by up to an inch or two in penis length and an in inch in penis girth.

Why do people do it? It’s an easy, affordable, and seemingly harmless way to improve penises. Most guides just emphasize the importance of following a schedule to get results.

There are different theories on what supposedly causes the “enlargement” of the penis. One theory says that the pulling and squeezing causes an increase in the blood pressure and circulation. Another says that jelqing causes microtears in the penis and as the tears start to heal, the penis becomes bigger.

How exactly is it done?

There are a lot of theories about what is the most effective way to perform jelqing. Just like when you are working out, you need to commit to doing it on a regular basis if you want to see results. Set aside at least 20 minutes a day, everyday. It’s supposed to be a daily habit!

Now, here’s where the differences come in. There are different theories on how it should be done the right way. If you are committed to doing this (We’re not saying you should), you might as well try out the different techniques and figure out which one works best for you.

One way of jelqing is to do an “okay sign” with your hand and stroke your penis in an upward motion and wait for your penis to be engorged with blood. Yeah, it sounds like masturbation but you should think of it as something more of a penis massage. According to a theory, the exercise is best performed when the penis is at 50-75% erection.  Doing it at 100% erection level can potentially hurt you but those who are are more experienced can try the exercise at higher erection levels.

One way to make jelqing more effective is to do warm up exercises first. Try taking a nice shower before you jump into action . You can put moist heating pad or a moist warm sock around your penis to help warm it up. You just have to be careful not to hurt yourself! You can also use an oil-based lube for smoother technique.

Some say that warming down after a jelqing session can help prevent injuries and other problems too. Just wrap it in warm wash cloth and relax for 5-10 minutes

If you notice side effects such as weaker erections, then it’s a sign that you are overdoing it. You might be interested in taking days off to give your penis time to rest. You might also want to tone down the intensity of your jelqing sessions if you are starting to feel pain or discomfort.

Is it safe?

While there are more aggressive and more dangerous ways to help increase the size of your penis, jelqing is definitely not as safe as it seems. What may seem harmless can actually deform and desensitize you manhood. There could also be tearing, scar formation, and unbelievable pain. You may also develop rashes and discoloration. If you pull too hard, you might even get serious permanent damage.

So, is it even worth it to try it out?

Now, here’s the big question. Does it actually work? Will all the squeezing and pulling actually get you the bigger dick you’ve always wanted.

Even if some members of the internet community are saying that jelqing has helped them get the penis size they want, most members of the medical community say that it does not work – even if you follow the techniques, even if you do it religiously everyday. So there is no medical proof that it works and it might cause damage to your sex life.

What are alternative ways to help increase penis size?

Before you try anything that promise penis growth, perhaps it’s important to take a pause and try to think about why you think you need it anyway. Do you really need bigger penis to satisfy your partner? Are you simply feeling insecure because of the unbelievable standards that come with being a man?

Studies show that most men who want their penis enlarged are actually average-sized but with big insecurities. Make sure to address those things too. Do you have a partner who makes you feel small? Have you always felt inadequate in other areas of life? Perhaps you need to change your mindset about yourself and work on boosting your confidence through other means first.
