The movie Casino tops every list of casino-based movies that you can find. This quintessential casino movie stars Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone, and tells the story of a man that runs four casinos in Las Vegas for the mafia.

2. The Sting (1973)

Clearly one of the best of the best. The Sting was set in Chicago with a musical soundtrack that was almost as famous as the movie itself. The story is based on a man bent on revenge after the death of his partner. It stars Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

 

1. 21 (2008)

21 follows a group of MIT students that have been trained by one of their professors to become experts in counting cards. The group ends up winning millions from different casinos in Vegas until one of the casino owners catches on to what they’re doing. The movie stars Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth.
