From LoveShackFancy to NYLON Nights, Dylan Kevitch took on New York Fashion Week with bold color, oversized silhouettes and one non-negotiable: feeling like himself.
New York Fashion Week can come with no shortage of styling teams, carefully planned looks and last-minute wardrobe changes. Dylan Kevitch decided to do things a little differently.
Rather than bringing in a stylist for the week, Kevitch trusted his own instincts, choosing each look based on what made him feel the most comfortable — and the most confident.
“I wanted to feel comfortable while looking iconic,” Kevitch tells SWAGGER. “I didn’t want to use a stylist because I know what looks and feels good on my body! And that’s what makes me the most confident!”
That approach carried him through a busy week of presentations, parties and shoots, with appearances ranging from LoveShackFancy’s Spring/Summer 2027 presentation to NYLON Nights and Revice Denim’s Fashion Week party.
His wardrobe was equally varied. For a NYLON Nights photoshoot with photographer Misha Rai, Kevitch mixed Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga, while Gucci became the choice for a night out at Revice Denim alongside Kaylor Martin.
Despite the designer names, Kevitch’s Fashion Week style was less about following a formula and more about building looks around his own personality.
“Playful, fashion forward NYC style with bold colors to match my energy, oversized silhouettes, statement pieces, and a touch of campy luxury,” he says of his aesthetic. “Overall comfortable and chic!!”
That mix of ease and excess feels particularly at home during Fashion Week. One moment, Kevitch was dressed for a presentation alongside Zarah Kelleher at LoveShackFancy; the next, he and Amanda Mitchell were squeezing in a mirror selfie while getting ready for Revice Denim.
Across every look, though, the through-line stayed the same: clothes that felt unmistakably his.
For Kevitch, getting dressed for Fashion Week wasn’t about handing over the reins or chasing whatever happened to be trending that season. It was about knowing what works, having fun with it and showing up with confidence.
And sometimes, that instinct is the best stylist you can have.
