Swagger Creators Gala Art Basel 2025

SWAGGER Magazine’s Miami Art Week 2025 Creators Gala Opens the Week in Spectacular Fashion, with Amanza Smith Hosting and Debuting Her Latest Artworks at One Ocean

SWAGGER Magazine’s Miami Art Week 2025 Creators Gala — presented in partnership with Twenty35 Agency, Jane Owen Public Relations (JOPR), and ZOOZ Group — opened Miami Art Week with spectacular force as an elite crowd of artists, creators, celebrities, and cultural leaders filled the iconic One Ocean South residence in Miami Beach’s exclusive South Pointe enclave. Held on December 4, 2025, the invitation-only event unfolded from 7:00 to 10:00 PM in a setting designed to blend fine art, luxury hospitality, high fashion, and creative innovation into one seamless cultural moment.

Dami L’Arc

A central highlight of the evening was the presence of Amanza Smith, the multi-hyphenate creative and beloved star of Netflix’s global hit Selling Sunset, who hosted the gala while unveiling a curated installation of her newest artwork. Smith, long admired for her dynamic career across modeling, acting, interior design, luxury real estate, and motivational speaking, has recently emerged as a formidable contemporary visual artist. Her ascent in the art world accelerated earlier this year with her European debut at Grove Gallery in London, where her exhibition “404: Humanity Not Found” explored identity, resilience, digital-age disconnection, and the human instinct to rebuild. Marked by bold color palettes, graphic tension, and emotional vulnerability, the works were praised as raw, resonant, and reflective of today’s emotional landscape.

Guests were welcomed into the sophisticated ambiance of One Ocean South with red-carpet arrivals and a vibrant mix of creators, influencers, and cultural figures, including Renee Monaco, Leila Depina, Jasmin Lario, Jackie Dallas, and Naomi Leon. The evening featured curated culinary offerings and elevated mixology, with signature cocktails showcasing the William Grant & Sons portfolio of premium spirits—including Milagro Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Glenfiddich Scotch, Reyka Vodka, and Monkey Shoulder Whisky. Sommsation presented an artfully selected collection of wines and sparkling varietals, enhancing the evening’s “Liquid Art” theme and celebrating the craftsmanship of winemaking, while premium Italian lager Peroni and Peroni 0.0 rounded out the drink experience.

At the Creators Gala, Smith presented her latest evolution as an artist with a selection of new works, marking the first time she has ever showcased her art during Art Miami. The installation created a direct line from her sold-out exhibitions at MASH Gallery Los Angeles and Grove Gallery London to Miami’s globally influential art scene, positioning her as a rising artistic voice whose work bridges design, culture, and deeply personal narrative.

Amanza’s arrival on the red carpet set one of the night’s defining visual moments. She appeared in a sculptural sheer black gown paired with a leather bra and a leather belt detailed with silver hardware, creating a striking architectural silhouette that perfectly reflected her bold artistic identity. Her ultra-high braided ponytail added sleek height and precision, complemented by layered silver jewelry and soft-glam makeup that accentuated her glowing skin. The result was a commanding yet effortless presence that epitomized the fusion of art, fashion, and star power that defines Miami Art Week at its best.

DJ Deoca

Inside the event, guests moved fluidly between Amanza’s exhibition and a pulsating musical performance from DEOCA, one of Miami’s most exciting emerging producers and DJs, known for his collaborations with global talents including J Balvin, Trippie Redd, and David Guetta. His rhythmic, groove-driven set created an energetic ambiance that threaded through the night’s programming. Guests enjoyed a premium hospitality experience featuring signature cocktails crafted from William Grant & Sons’ award-winning spirits — including Milagro Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Glenfiddich Scotch, Reyka Vodka, and Monkey Shoulder Whisky — alongside an artfully curated wine selection by Sommsation, Premium Mixers by FeverTree and chilled pours of Peroni and Peroni 0.0. The gala also partnered with GettingAlong.com to support the next generation of civic leaders, reinforcing the event’s commitment to creativity with purpose.

The evening drew a dynamic mix of creators, tastemakers, and cultural figures who mingled throughout One Ocean South’s sophisticated environment, which proved ideal for intimate conversations, creative exchange, and content capture.

By the time the night came to a close, the Creators Gala had unmistakably established itself as one of the most influential opening events of Miami Art Week, offering a vibrant entry point into the week’s world-class artistic programming.

By presenting Amanza Smith’s newest works — including her first-ever Art Miami presentation — alongside luxury hospitality, curated entertainment, and a community of forward-thinking creators, SWAGGER Magazine’s Creators Gala reinforced its mission: to celebrate creativity in motion, amplify emerging artistic voices, and usher in Miami Art Week with sophistication, impact, and undeniable cultural momentum.
