There must be a reason why holidaymakers venture back to Las Vegas again and again. One of the main draws is that even seasoned veterans of “Sin City” can still find something completely new each time they visit. Although new attractions have been somewhat harder to come by on the Strip and on Fremont Street in recent years, for obvious reasons, this year has seen Vegas double-down on the pace of change.

Below, we’ve summarized five of the must-see new attractions in Las Vegas that are helping to take entertainment to new levels in the heart of the Nevada desert.

Stadium Swim at Circa

Sports fans can now simultaneously catch the big game and top up their tan thanks to the new Stadium Swim resort on the rooftops of Circa Resort & Casino. Situated on Fremont Street, you can book yourself a table or cabana overlooking the 40-foot-wide HD screen, as well as any of the six vibrant pools and multiple swim-up bars.

Sport has long been one of the main revenue drivers in Sin City, with its sportsbooks located in some of the most prominent locations on the floors of Strip casinos. According to OddsChecker, Nevada was one of the first US states to permit online and mobile sports wagering too. However, bettors must create client accounts in-person with a licensed retail sportsbook to get started.

Princess Diana: A Tribute Exhibition

A new tribute to “The People’s Princess”, Princess Diana, has launched in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Situated on the third story of The Shops at Crystals, this exhibition covers 10,000 sq. ft of prime floor space, containing a host of rare personal items.

Launched on September 7, 2022, the memorabilia surrounding the life of Princess Diana is on another level to any other homage to The People’s Princess. There are 12 individually curated exhibits, showcasing some of her most iconic moments, including her marriage to Prince Charles and a nod to her unquestionable sense of style.

David Blaine Live at Resorts World

World-renowned illusionist and magician, David Blaine, announced his first ever residency in the entertainment capital of Las Vegas in May 2022. David Blaine Live will be showcased at the Resorts World Theatre, launching September 30, 2022.

The state-of-the-art 5,000-seater theater will enable Blaine to curate something magical for locals and tourists alike. Blaine admitted the stunning Resorts World Theatre had “sparked [his] imagination” and inspired him to “create something unique in magic” for the people of Sin City. Tickets start from just $59 per person but can range up to a maximum of $1,500 per person for the ultimate VIP experience.

Mad Apple by Cirque Du Soleil at New York New York

Mad Apple is the latest Cirque Du Soleil production and the first in several years to reach the Vegas Strip. Staged in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, Mad Apple is described as New York-inspired acrobatics, with a healthy dose of dance, music and comedy inspired by the “Big Apple”.

Mad Apple replaces Cirque Du Soleil’s raunchy Zumanity production, which draws to a close after 17 years on the Strip. The new show lasts approximately 80 minutes. It’s unique in having bars set into the stage, allowing the audience to grab a cocktail before the show starts.

Weekends with Adele

Few British singers have resonated so strongly with the American music industry quite like Adele. She has been firmly embraced by the hearts of music fans across the US and will be performing a weekend residency at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace from Friday November 18, 2022.

Adele was forced to reschedule her residency following technical issues surrounding the production of her show, but it appears to be full steam ahead for the fall. In addition to the 24 shows that had to be rescheduled, a further eight have been announced. Fans can catch Adele performing through to March 25, 2023.

It’s great to see resorts on the Las Vegas Strip – and in Downtown Las Vegas – continue to innovate and push the entertainment boundaries. There’s plenty more in the pipeline for 2023 too, including the MSG Sphere, which will be a 360-feet-tall spherical arena designed to host all kinds of gigs and events. Sports fans will also be delighted to see Formula 1’s World Championship circuit come to the Las Vegas Strip in November 2023.
