When you think of art and technology, it’s hard to conceive a way that the two can go hand in hand. Even harder is when that form of technology is automotive. However, British luxury sports car company Aston Martin has found a way to infuse the two in their final release of the Vanquish S Ultimate.

For the last vehicle to be released from the Vanquish S collection, Aston Martin went all out and paid every expense to make sure this release would be the best in the series and give the owner amazing driving possibilities. If you’re the type of person who appreciates power and speed in a vehicle, then you’ll die to get behind the wheel of this super-coupe.

Under the hood

The core of the Vanquish S Ultimate consists of a 6.0 V12 engine that produces 600 PS (608 horsepower). This level of power allows the vehicle to move at the peak speed of 201 mph and get from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Talk about fast! Anyone driving this marvel of a car will be blown away (figuratively and probably literally as well) by the sheer dynamic energy the vehicle has to offer with just a simple press of a pedal.

“Ride, steering and handling are beautifully attuned to create dynamic character,” says Aston Martin chief engineer, Matt Becker.

Additional features include an eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission, quad-exhaust tailpipes, and revised inlet manifolds for increased engine airflow. It may sound like a lot to handle, but these features let you enjoy the wild speed levels of the car safely all the while still being in total control of the vehicle.

Luxury Design

As important as performance and safety are in any vehicle, we also want it to look nice. Thankfully, Aston Martin didn’t just compose a stylish exterior for this Vanquish S, but also an extremely luxurious interior that only increases the driving experience (even just as a passenger). The elegant carbon-fiber veneer of this sports car is instantly attention grabbing, but it also possesses exceptional functionality as well. The brand new aerodynamic design of this Vanquish S includes carbon fiber 2×2 twill front splitter and a rear diffuser, which ensures increased high speed stability during the ride.

More on the interior, the beautifully-designed model showcases a more expansive cabin and trunk. Having more leg and trunk space makes riding this Vanquish S (either as a driver or passenger) more comfortable than ever before. Another significant feature of the interior is the ingenious and advanced infotainment system (AMi III) with all new satellite navigation.

Aston Martin offers a number of variety of materials (wood, carbon fiber, leathers, etc.) to choose between so that your interior feels made specifically for you. The seats are made of premium leather with Filograph quilt design options, while the Bang & Olufsen audio provides crisp, quality sound for audiophiles.

Also, as a special feature to end the production of this luxury sports car, Aston Martin will offer three exclusive “Designer Themes” for the Vanquish S Ultimate. These limited edition color and trim packages are exclusive to this final edition (not even other Aston Martin luxury vehicles can get these themes). The first being the ultimate black: a sleek black exterior with bronze graphics printed on the outside. Inside, it’s black infused with tan accents. The second theme is a grey-blue color collaboration for the exterior, paired with a grey leather interior with blue and yellow accents. The last theme features a classy white-gold colorway with bronze graphics and tan leather interiors with black accents. To go with these three pre-designed colorways, Aston also gives the option for potential buyers to choose between any combination of exterior and interior combinations. This option is nothing less than a plus for automotive enthusiasts who prefer to have their sports car customized to their liking.

Coming soon

The Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate is anticipated to be out in 2018 with a limited run of 175 units (the price starts at $342,000 USD). Fans of this series or the brand itself will definitely be lined up and camping out for the final edition of this popular sports car model. The Vanquish S Ultimate embodies the essence of Aston Martin based on the potency, technical advances, and luxury cabin and sleek design we all know and love. If you ask us, we’d say it’s definitely a good way to end for the last of it’s kind.
