Nur so bekommt man eben lange Haare (was schätzt ihr, wie “alt” sind meine Spitzen? 😅). Auch bei Haarpflege kann man langfristig oder kurzfristig denken: kurzfristig wäre zB Produkte mit vielen synthetischen Stoffen, Silikonen, etc. zu verwenden, welche die Haare für kurze Zeit glänzend machen, sie aber nicht bis in die Tiefe pflegen. This is from a shoot I did with the wonderful @wolfs__spirit 📸 in December and I can honestly say it’s the first one I’ve done where I wasn’t trying to diet and wasn’t preoccupied by thoughts like “ugh, I should be leaner for this”. I just lived my life and went in happy to be me ☺️. – I think it’s extremely important to love and accept your body at all stages but I’ll readily admit that it has taken time to get here and I still sometimes struggle. – I used to HATE taking rest days (especially unplanned ones). I remember getting so anxious about it that I cried on a couple of occasions 🙇🏼‍♀️. I also used to really beat myself up for any type of divergence from my normal diet. Any enjoyment I should have gotten from fun social eating was ruined by my preoccupation with how I’d “cheated on my diet”. – The thing is, I KNEW BETTER. Even though intellectually I understood that a couple days of overeating and inactivity wouldn’t change my body, a little voice is my brain was always there telling me otherwise. It’s one thing to know something in theory and another to be able to put it into practice…and that takes practice 👊🏻. – So I decided to be my own case study. I challenged myself and sit in the discomfort to prove that nothing catastrophic would happen. Each time it got a little easier and I got a little more confident. – What’s important in my opinion is not never having those thoughts but choosing to challenge them so as you “evolve”, that little voice gets quieter (and hopefully eventually shuts up entirely) 🤐. – Just like it takes time to make long lasting (sustainable) changes to your body, it also takes time and consistent work to shift your mindset. Always be kind to you (it’s worth the work). – That is all. Happy Friday ❤️

Not gonna lie guys I’ve been really struggling with how dark it’s been… it’s that time of year in the UK when the sun doesn’t really rise 😩🌫 my energy has been great and overall I feel good and it’s definitely been better than last year, but my mood goes down when it’s dark because I feel.. claustrophobic? I’m not sure what’s the best word to describe it. Can you relate? • I’m also feeling a bit lonely 🙁 because Ben is away in Hong Kong for work! I used to go with him on work trips but for the last several months I decided it would be best to stay home to stay more focused on my work. I never used to feel lonely before my surgery (I think it was the brain fog) so that is something new I’m dealing with. We’re lucky because the next few trips are ones we get to do together 🙏🏼 • Anywayyy if there’s anything I learned there is always something that we can do to pick ourselves up when we’re feeling down and improve our situation 🤗 I’m going to get myself to the gym (like right after I post this) to re-establish a routine, take my daily vitamin D & fish oil and crack down on using my daylight lamps to wake up and while I work during the day 💡 if you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, honestly the lamps help sooo much! • I also want to thank you for leaving nice comments on here, and I apologize for not being as responsive lately. I struggle with withdrawing socially when I feel down and lonely. Basically I sabotage myself haha. It’s something I need to work on 💕

Ultimately that’s what will happen . You’ll start off fine, but if you start depriving yourself of the things you really want, it will only be a matter of ⏰ before you start CRAVING THEM BADLY! . Trust me girls I know first-hand 🙋🏻‍♀‍how this works! 🧠 . I competed professionally for many years and those diets are as😭restrictive as they come! . Once I was done with competing, I had to work REALY hard to find the right balance between a healthy lifestyle and how to still enjoy the foods I loved . I love staying fit, but I also love to feed my❤soul! It's so IMPORTANT . We are HUMAN, not ROBOTS, we like to eat, have fun, and enjoy ourselves . Your lifestyle should be a celebration 🎉of YOU and the things you like to enjoy, not the things that🙅🏻‍♀‍remove your joy . Remember to always ask yourself these questions👇🏽 . ❓Are you happy with your diet now❓ ❓Can you see yourself doing this long term❓ . If the answer to these questions is “NO”… . It’s time to make some changes! . I tell my clients this ALL THE TIME! If you don’t like your diet you will NOT stick to it long term🙅🏻‍♀ . That’s why I always ask my clients when we start working together, what their FAVORITE FOODS are, so I can try my best to include them into their meal plans . 3 Year Transformation ✨ . TAG a friend! . For the longest time I felt like I had to compete with everyone else around me. Why? This is a posterior chain workout (back, rear shoulders, glutes and hamstrings).
