Founded in 2020, the sustainably minded brand of Just Enough Wines was created for people to enjoy anywhere, at any given time, with just about anyone. And though canned wine may not seem completely enjoyable or of high quality, Jessical Hershfield, Founder and CEO of Just Enough Wines, wants nothing but the best for her customers.

“Living in San Francisco, I naturally gravitated to canned drinks as a portable and convenient way to take with me as I explored local parks and beaches, but I struggled to find a canned wine that actually tasted … good. I couldn’t understand how there could be an incredible wine region an hour drive from me, but I couldn’t find a canned wine solution that held up to the quality of wine found in a traditional bottle.”

Made from grapes that are grown in vineyards located in some of the best regions in the country, Just Enough Wines has an immaculate flavor that allows for less waste. Their practical serving size of one can equates to one and a half glasses of wine (meaning a six pack is equivalent to two bottles), allowing for fewer unfinished bottles to go to waste.

This practical serving size is also useful in keeping track of how much you have drunk, how much more you want to drink, and how many cans you should bring to whatever event (or let’s be honest, sometimes a couch) you are going to.

Keeping sustainability in mind, not only does their serving size allow for less waste, but their aluminum cans are easily recyclable, therefore reducing the overall carbon footprint of shipping and producing wine. Just Enough Wines is also partnered with 1% for the Planet, meaning that 1% of their revenue goes towards environmentally friendly non-profits.

Though founded only a year ago, Just Enough Wines has garnered mass success during their short journey thus far. With their Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Vegan-friendly, and no added sugars or concentrates formula, along with their four delicious wine flavors that go through an incredibly extensive taste testing process that ensures maximum top-tier quality, it is no wonder that they have gotten as far as they have in such a short amount of time.

Their four current flavor offerings are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Brut Bubbles, and Rosé. All tasting incredibly delicious and like they came right out of an expensive bottle of wine, customers have constantly been left wanting to buy more — this is why three new flavors will be coming out later this year! In time for the Fall season, Just Enough Wines will be releasing a new Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and in time for the joyous and celebratory holiday season, a new Brut Bubbles is set to release as well.

Though Jessica did come up with this multi-million dollar idea, she could not have successfully pulled it off without her two business partners by her side. As soon as the idea was born, Jessica partnered up with Co-Founder and COO, Kaitlyn Lo, and Director of Winemaking for Just Enough Wines, Ross Bentley. Through all of their respective expertise, they have been able to make a canned wine company like no other — convenient, sustainable, portable, and most importantly, delicious.

Soon expanding their business outside of the West Coast to areas like New York and Florida, it is exciting to think of where their wines will end up. People will be able to take them to picnics in the park, music festivals, sporting events, camping trips, movie nights, and so much more.

Only in the beginning of their journey, it is clear that they have a long way to go. With more wines to create and more people to serve, it is nothing but positive that wherever Just Enough Wines ends up, they will be there with great success, and even greater wines.
