Summer 2019 Golf Fashion Trends

The warmer weather in the UK has arrived and as well as meaning you can hopefully put your weatherproofs away for a few months, it means that you should be bringing out your summer golf wardrobe. If you are the kind of golfer who likes to get your shorts on at the first hint of warm weather, there are plenty of new styles for you to check out.

Here is some of the top golf apparel to hit the shops this summer:

Camo print shirts

As modelled by Rickie Fowler at the Masters, the camo print design has made its way onto the golf course. Often favoured by celebrity singers, the camouflage look is now incorporated into a number of shirt designs, such as the green Puma one sported by Fowler.

Nike Aerobill TW Classic 99 Cap

Tiger Woods grabbed all of the headlines at the Masters and his TW Nike cap is going to be a must-have item for all Tiger fans out there. The unique TW logo makes a change from the traditional Nike tick design caps that Woods mixes it up with.

Puma Ignite NXT Solelace Shoes

Another fashion statement that Rickie Fowler has helped launch is the Puma Ignite NXT Solelace shoes. As well as looking very stylish, these spikeless shoes are proving to be a great addition in terms of performance too.  The Ignite cushioning and the moulded insole has been developed to bring superior comfort to the wearer, so for long summer golf days and your annual golf holiday, these are the perfect choice of footwear. The Puma golf shoes men’s range has added a number of great new designs ready for the summer.

Puma Golf Shorts – Jaws Print

These very fashionable limited-edition shorts will be popular for golfers who prefer to wear shorts in the summer months. The dryCELL technology is also moisture wicking, meaning they are a good choice for the hotter days when you would usually expect to get uncomfortably sweaty. The eye-catching design makes a nice alternative to plain shorts for those who like to make a statement on the course.

Henrik Stenson Street Sunglasses

Stenson usually looks like he has put a lot of planning into his golf outfits and his range of Street sunglasses are super stylish too. The Daylight black/white sunglasses look great both on and off the course and the high contrast vision is ideal for providing optimal clarity. They also stay well protected with an anti-scratch coating as well as super hydrofoil coating that repels grease, sweat and oil.

Mock Neck Shirts

Whilst this type of shirt has caused debate ever since Tiger Woods first started sporting it in 2003, his recent sensational Masters win has brought the spotlight back onto this collar-less style. Perhaps the golfing community is more accepting of the style nowadays, as the performance improvements and comfort it brings are there for all to see.

If you want to stay at the height of fashion this summer, you can’t go wrong with any of the style trends we’ve listed here.
